I have an urge to design a splash Enter page. I know it’s frowned upon, but I’m not asking for your reviews. I’m inspired by the cutesy sites, the ones where graphics on the layout seem to be the emphasis. I’d like to try that. I’ve realized that because of school, and other dumbshit, I don’t have quality time to spend on Photoshop CS3. (And I want CS4. Now.) [Oh and the downside of CS3 that I despise the most is the lack of Imageready. That’s why i still love 7.0 just as much.] And so, since I don’t make ugly Myspace resources and repetitive icon tutorials, I need a better way to design something. Anything, but it must be worthwhile. You see, I never understood the concept of creating icons and layouts for people. What the fuck? You’re not even getting paid and most of the time you run into a stupid bitch here and there who doesn’t agree with the styles you create and therefore bitches his/her face off because they don’t understand that they can just leave and click that X and blah blah find another site. I like to avoid this internet.. crap. I don’t buy your provisions for the public. To the sites I browse and visit, I don’t look at your content, I really don’t. Sound shitty and evil? Yeah I don’t give a flying fuck. People need to learn to find stuff to do that’s worth their time. Trust me, this is not worth your time.

So this is a cynical, ranting, paragraph about why I pretty much don’t put content on my site. Which is essentially the same concept as what I think about hosting. I don’t want to host your damn site if I don’t know you because I don’t want to deal with you. 99% of the time I am bitching and frustrated or too lazy and I’ll never get around to associating with you.

There is something about reviews these days. Is it me, or are shitty sites reviewing better sites only to provide a lack of downgrading themselves? To those who write reviews and don’t even have a doctype in their header, well all I can say is, please learn before you critique. I think reviews are pointless. Personally, I don’t care. Actually, I don’t know how many people care, good question. But it’s your site, and its purpose is not to diss another’s site.

I realized I’m totally off on tangent here. I think a lot of people will secretly hate on this entry, although I do know I’m losing visitors. But I don’t care, question why I rid the tracker months ago? Yeah exactly. I don’t need a measure of popularity. So I will shut up now. Think whatever of me all ya want. Yes, I do know I’m a very cynical person. Face it.

i still remember the days of yester-season when i would excite myself over laker wins. well guess what, the season has started :):) yay! they are on a roll already. i look forward to the rest of the year.

halloween was yesterday. had a grrrreat time, went trick or treating with maggie, emily and her friend ashley, richard, and diana. diana took forever to come to my house even though she lives right up the street. she was gonna be obama, supposedly, so we kept going “obama where are you?!” and then she came out dressed as superman (sort of). -__-” i was disappointed not to see any politicians this year. we got a craaaaapppploadddd of candy! yay enough to last.. a long time haha. there was a haunted house/driveway on a nearby street so we went there and whoever was in front of the line (!!) took forever to get through omfg it wasnt even that scary haha. and the guy at the door in costume was brendon’s brother, i think. ashley or someone kept bugging him if he was trevor but of course he wouldnt say anything but you could tell he was smiling or something. lol. so it defeated the purpose of scaryness. some lady gave out glow sticks haha. we ran into people we didnt know lived in the area. can’t wait for next year LOL

sooo now that halloween season has passed it means it’s almost the holiday season! ahh i’m already thinking about it. i can’t wait for christmas time, and presents, and vacation, and new years (a year since the cruise? i cant believe it) and thanksgiving and black friday (now starting at midnight woot!) and all that FUNNNNNN stuff. yeaah life’s alright these days

edit- i just installed wordpress (how is it hard o_o ? it’s not hard at all, easier than i even remember it since last time. the ftp just keeps strangling itself during uploading) it’s gonna be an external link so the main page of ef.net will be a nav page. how aweshuummm is that? will have this little..’mini’ revamp soon. and try to design a wp theme. woopeeeehh

you MUST listen to especially the second one. it is the most harmonious 1 minute i’ve ever heard in my life. see how much i missed by not going to their concert?

i couldn’t switch out of AP US history because i am supposedly earning a B right now, so “i’m failing” is not a valid excuse for me to leave so now i’m stuck in there -____-” which means i actually should start focusing on things in that class. i have a lot of homework to do this weekend already, sigh. : ( it’s been awhile since i used happy faces with any sort of passion.

also, i really really want a new phone. i never get reception in my house. uh duh that’s dumb. i dont know if should blame my phone or At&t ..or where i live.. or i don’t know.

yesterday i attended the first speech and debate competition of the season, go me. as whs noobs, we aren’t expected to be pure nfl perfection yet one of our team duos placed twelfth which is reaaally awesome. but competition is so. much. asdfsdf FUN. argh i can’t wait until next saturdays invitational:) i even look forward to debate practice aha. i love my heart’s devotion

but im already starting to not like the whole layout..and css and almost everything. i’ll make a new one when i have time. which definitely probably wont be this weekend. i’ve got a birthday to celebrate in six hours!!

i was too eager to get a new layout up and running so i wouldn’t be lifeless on my birthday, also known as the birthday of this site. it will be this friday. let me know if the layout is too hard on anyone’s eyes. it wasn’t on mine at first but maybe i’ve just been starting at the flipping computer all day long. now i gotta gotta GOTTA GOTTA go sleep sooooooon. as soon as i start studying. yeah, start.

i’m using google’s new browser, Chrome. it’s okay, it lacks some stuff, like a TITLE BAR? STATUS BAR? TOOLBAR? its just about as fast as firefox, the homepage of most frequently visited pages is cool, but i’d like to have my igoogle back and i almost forget to check my email because of it. but the colors are cool, and NEW INCOGNITO WINDOWS! so you can all go watch porn yay!

alrighty i’m out for now

welllll, school’s okay so far. a little stressful already, so early in the year. i know it’s not gonna be a breeze, nooo way. my hand hurt, hell, i did enough writing for a whole year. ah! well some stuff i cant wait for, others could hold off. i’m not quite sure how to see things yet. it’s unbelievable though, how i’m already past 50% done with my high school experience. i felt like i barely started. i never had any specific goals in mind for my high school life. i’m not sure what i was thinking before freshman year started. maybe i wanted to just survive? or just the mere fact that this was the gateway to escape so i could get the hell out of my boring house/room and partaay my ass off in college? or maybe i couldn’t wait to grow up, but i doubt that one. i could remember though, wanting to excel. i felt positive going to IB and then 2007 summer school math changed it all, and i settled on the idea that this was NOT middle school. A’s weren’t gonna come easy. I wouldn’t be valedictorian or get higher than 4.0 gpa despite the AP classes that i’ve taken/taking. But hey, a lot could happen within the next..178 days. we’ll see, ’cause you never know.

lately i haven’t been going out, or hanging out or anything, which really really sucks. my birthday’s coming up soon and it’d be nice to get out of here once in awhile, yea?

I went to the orthodontist yesterday and got my braces tightened, with the addition of rubberbands, which explains my current hungryness. I’ll explain that in a sec. anyone who wears braces can explain the disgustingly pathetic soreness following. Now i don’t know how many people know this but I have a phobia of rubber bands. Not while they’re in a natural still state, but while they’re being stretched, flung, shot, whatever it may be. i fear getting smacked by a rubber band. i have been smacked by a rubber band. it was not a pleasant experience. And neither is this one. I have to wear the front to back rubber bands at night but naturally there’s a new elastic overlay over my current, new, especially tight, wire. PAINFUL. I’ve taken tylenol but it doesn’t really work, and I also really don’t want to OD. So therefore I haven’t eaten much. I didn’t eat breakfast and i ate pie for lunch. Big deal. I think I might go eat ice cream now or something. typically the soreness goes away in like two days but since this is double the load of pain, i don’t exactly know. it could be double the time. oh boy.

this morning at 11:42 am Southern California felt an approximately 5.4 magnitude earthquake, apparently strong enough to be the local news’ coverage for most of the day. living in California you’d think i feel earthquakes every other day but nope, I’ve only felt about 2 in my entire life, this one included. but maaan it was pretty shaky. the epicenter was Chino Hills which is pretty mad dang close! about 6 miles away. and i have a laptop so maybe you can imagine what the screen was looking like during the 15-20 seconds-ish or so. apparently people in San Diego and Las Vegas could even feel it.. now that’s just weird. only me and my sister were at home so were just both like, ahhhh!! and it was funny because all these car alarms just started going off during the middle of the eq and stuff. felt an aftershock like 5 minutes later. then we continued on with our lives. hah.

the latest Jonas Brothers!!! single titled Tonight just released and of course like ALWAYS! it sounds absolutely amazing so go give it a listen =) which reminds me. the other day i was at Borders fetching some summer reading books for honors English when I see 3 girls, decked out in JB gear head to toe—this includes the following: Jonas Brothers Burnin Up 2008 Concert shirts, ditto for Tote bags… eh who knows what else. anyway they were hanging out at the magazine shelf hovering over the Rolling Stone cover with JB on it. (duh) as quoted from my head: Freaks. as quoted from their mouths: OMG HE’S SOOOO CUTE. LIKE, SERIOUSLY, OMG NO WAAAYY! tell me something new. now don’t get me wrong, i ADORE LOVE FASCINATE WORSHIP the jonas brothers but seriously, i’m not gonna tramp out in public with JB everything. i have my limits you know, which stops at Borderline Freakshow.

Okay dokes today was the LAST DAY of summer school
I really really really like Maggie and Ashley food~!!
I’m not really “relieved” or whatever because it wasnt much at all but now I can finally do a few more things. Not like there is anything to do. I have to start summer honors reading (3 books what the fuck?!?!) and I’ll be on vacation soon and.. I’m wondering if I should bring my books on vacation?? Is that a good idea? I’m not a very productive person anyway so i don’t think it’s gonna work. I also need to study for SAT seeing as I haven’t done that in like a month and the book is just happily munching on dust for all three meals. Way to go!!! Perhaps the revised definition of 2400?!?

To anyone w/ IE (which is a big majority even though i know 99% of my visitors appear to be using FF) can someone check to see if this site works?? It seems like NOTHING AT ALL displays in IE, except the image. It was fine when i first applied the layout, and Fanupdate. If it doesn’t work for anyone else anymore I’m going to (officially) go bananas. EVER SINCE I REVAMPED THE WEBSITE NOTHING HAS SEEMED TO WORK IN IE!!! Is it me? It must not like me =( Otherwise I’ll try to make a new layout that works both—like I haven’t tried enough times already!

Okay by now I’m sure nearly everyone in the website entourage has heard about OK (Kate’s) site being hacked by a bunch of turkey weirdos (gobble, anyone?) Don’t stare at the background, you might pass out (don’t worry, I didn’t). On the other hand, this brings up a topic about “staying safe”. I struggle to find the best way to prevent myself from hacks. I’m not much of a big name site, I don’t see what good they’ll find here but I’m sure every website owner asks this question now and then. The more I think about it the more I realize that, what the heck, changing passwords and backing up files doesn’t do shit. Sure you’ll have that stuff right at hand if you need it again but just the presence of being hacked… Smart guys can still get in, and that’s who those hackers are. They’re not just immature high school geniuses (like the iPhone kid) but an entire team of hackers and oh boy am I not the only one who this topic doesn’t get me thinking??

Anyways on the topic of my life (yeah I know, the best part!!) I passed my pink slip test without missing anything WOOT. Me=genius (i really want to become hackz0rs-style genius but don’t worry, I won’t do malicious things to you!) And I don’t know if they do this in other states or something (o_o) but I can get my permit soon and wheee I can’t wait to drive!~ Tomorrow is the last day of summer school. Heh i’m somewhat excited but not really, because it only further anticipates a continuously repeating ongoing boring repetitive summer. (blech, what a mouthful.)

Sooooo anyway the past few days fragments of my iPod have been falling apart. not to the point where it doesn’t work though, thank goodness or I would shoot and torture..and kill and murder..and who knows what else. Essentially, the earphones are falling apart. You know, the little pieces of rubber. MADE IN CHINA CHEAPO~! I cant believe Apple likes to charge approximately $30 for that piece of crap headphones. There are way better ones out there. They also better not bust while I’m on vacation which is about 3 weeks away.

Yesterday evening i went over to Maggie’s just to use her house as an escape property, then Patrick picked me up. And then when i came back to Maggie’s we ate random things for dinner while watching Freaky Friday on ABC which I already saw and i don’t care too much for anyway, so bleh. And we just spent a lot of time talking, very cool. i like talking. Especially long fun conversations with people who will actually understand everything you say because you can just talk to them forever and ever and ever.

Still looking for a stuffed giraffe, also looking for things I could sell on eBay for extra $, and something i can find to spend with my extra paypal cash which isn’t very much. I’m still hoping for a DS which I still haven’t gotten because I don’t have enough money in it or credit card access so I’m pretty much hopeless unless people donate money out of sympathy. Which would be like, totally amazing!!!11!!1!!!!~~

Its just a bunch of pathetic ads and worthless crap made for women in their 40s. Although when the August issue came in the mail like, last week, I saw Leighton Meester on the cover practically best dressed. Why can’t i look more like her, ya know? So I see this cover. My eyes: O__O!~!!!~~!! And I could practically inhale it or worship it or blow it up on one of those Kodak Picture Maker machines inside drugstores and make ginormous wallpaper out of it. (I probably will, so don’t take it so lightheartedly) Then I open the mag to find out there’s only like, two pages of her. TWO. F*CKING PAGES. Oh my god, can’t they do better than that? And seriously, wtf, half of it is pictures. I WANT TO READ. READ READ READ. noooo you give me some shitty pictures of clothes. I dont care what she’s wearing as long as she looks fab in the first place. IS THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO?!?!?!???! I’d like to think otherwise. I mean at least throw an extra pic of Chace Crawford or something geez.
